With more than 15 years in the legal services industry, Attorney Chris Moschkin brings a rare combination of deep legal knowledge, courtroom tenacity, and genuine compassion for his clients. His career began at Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner LLP in Washington, D.C., one of the nation’s top intellectual property firms. While in law school, he clerked for practicing attorneys before entering public service as a Contracting Officer and Policy Analyst with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
In private practice, Chris represents clients across Maryland in criminal defense, civil litigation, and administrative law, appearing in both state and federal courts. He has successfully litigated Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and Americans with Disabilities Act cases, secured SBA grants for small businesses, and obtained full dismissals in serious felony and firearm cases.

Personal Roots and Community Commitment
Raised on the border of Kensington and Wheaton, Chris comes from a hardworking blue- and white-collar family. As the son of an immigrant, he takes immigrant rights to heart and proudly welcomes newcomers to the United States, the State of Maryland, and his own Aspen Hill–Wheaton–Glenmont neighborhood.
Chris studied Spanish for two semesters at the University of Maryland, College Park, and has spent the last three years developing real-world Spanish skills for legal consultations. While he continues to refine his fluency, he uses technology and cultural understanding to communicate clearly with Spanish-speaking clients — never judging anyone based on documentation status.
He even watches for ICE presence near courthouses, ensuring clients can make informed decisions about attendance and safety. As he says:
